Start:    Etienne-Brule Park, Toronto, ON. 

Course:    Enjoy this beautiful west end Toronto park.  The 5 Km course starts and ends at the entrance of Etienne-Brule park just north of the Old Mills subway station.  Follow the path that the 17th century <<coureurs des bois>> (runners of the woods) took to reach Simcoe Lake.  Humber River RUN goes from Etienne-Brule Park, through Magwood Park, to Baby Point, back to Magwood Park and to the finish in Etienne-Brule Park

Registration / Bag Check:      8:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. at Etienne-Brule Park (parking lot)

First Aid Stations:   First Aid Kits are available at first aid stations at the 3 and 5 km marks.  Water and sports drinks will also be available at these stations.  It is highly recommended that runners carry water between aid stations. 

Post-run refreshmentsFruit, mini baguettes, water and sports drinks await you at the finish line.

Awards:   While awards are given to the first three overall female and male finishers, Humber River RUN is designed to be non-competitive, encourages the enjoyment of running, and emphasizes personal achievement.  In addition, we will give away prizes to participants and volunteers in recognition of their efforts, accomplishments, and/or sportsmanship - or for just having "fun".

19 years and under:       $15 ($ 20 on Race day September 16, 2007)

The categories for Humber River RUN for both men and women are: 
· 14 years and under
· 15 - 19 years
· 20 - 29 years
· 30 - 39 years
· 40 - 49 years
· 50 - 59 years
· 60 years and over


Timing

Humber River RUN isn't chiptimed. Bib-numbers (and times) are captured at the finish line using hand-held numeric keypad attached to a laptop (containing race and runners details). Overall results and separate lists of award winners are printed immediately.
